New Moon in Cancer

New Moon in Cancer
Wednesday 25 June at 5:31am (AEST)

This New Moon lands in the water sign of Cancer, a sign ruled by the heart, the home, and our emotional waterbodies. You might be feeling more sensitive than usual, more tender, more easily moved. Let that be okay. Let that be the medicine we need in the world right now.

Cancer doesn’t ask us to be tough. It asks us to feel.
To tend to the parts of ourselves we often shut away.
To come back home… within.

This is a beautiful time to nurture what matters. That might be your space. Your rituals. Your body. Your boundaries. Or maybe it’s simply the part of you that’s been holding a lot lately and needs to be witnessed without fixing.

You might notice the urge to crawl into your shell when things get too much. Cancer is the crab, after all. But this New Moon invites us to stay open, even if just a little. To express what we feel before we suppress it. To paint it, write it, dance it, cry it out.

Let the lyrics of Malka Russell be our guide this new moon: “a queen knows how to feel the world, and turn it into art.”

Let your emotions have room to breathe.
Let your intuition lead.
Let your inner world be honoured.

The crab holds a wise and noble message, that there’s a strength in choosing to protect your energy, not from a place of fear, but from a place of self-respect. Not everyone gets access to your soft heart. That’s wisdom, not coldness.

Let this moon remind you:
You don’t have to be loud to be powerful.
You don’t have to be busy to be worthy.
You don’t have to have it all together to be whole.

Slow down.
Soften.
Feel.

You are safe to be who you are in this phase of life right now.

Lots of Love,
Erin Rose x
